Teenager Josh Elliott made a storming return to fitness at the IDM German Supersport finale at Hockenheim. Despite qualifying relatively far back at 13th on the grid, a last minute change to suspension in the warm up period allowed Josh to use his late braking and high entry speed to the maximum again. He battled his way to 6th place and at half distance was one of the fastest riders on track.
4th place or even a podium was well within reach at this point. Sadly it was not to be as a tyre problem created such bad vibration it was unsafe to continue. Although not the result the team had hoped for Josh had again been able to show his potential and the team look forward to their next meeting where he will no doubt be challenging once more for podium finishes.
