Jeremy McWilliamsOne of motorcycle racing’s most popular and well respected figures Jeremy’s career has seen him race competitively in most of the worlds major series, including a 13 year career in Grand Prix racing. He is currently racing for the factory backed KTM Akrapovic team in the IDM German Superbike championship, where he also mentors young riders Josh Elliott and Glenn Irwin in the Supersport class. Jeremy has received critical acclaim from press and client alike for his race coaching, the Superbike Academy now offers a wider audience the benefit of his experience. |

Simon Crafar Simon enjoyed a fantastic career in GP500 and World Superbike including a magnificent win at the Donington Grand Prix in 1998 and 10 podium finishes in World Superbike. Since his retirement from road racing he has been involved in high level Enduro riding, where he is respected as an expert in the field, and racetrack tuition. His easy going manner and depth of knowledge have made him a student favourite. Simon proved his superhuman attributes this year – recovering almost miraculously from a severe spinal injury he sustained when hit by a car whilst Enduro riding in Romania. We’re very pleased he is fit and able to join us again. |
Leon Haslam Leon has wowed the World Superbike paddock this year with four podium finishes on his privateer Stiggy Honda. Still only 26 years old Leon has a massive amount of experience having raced in Grand Prix, World Superbike and BSB where only the smallest margin of bad luck prevented him from lifting the title. Son of the legendary Ron Haslam Leon has inherited his fathers coaching skills, with an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of motorcycles and racing. Friends and fans know that Leon has the talent to be a world champion yet he remains approachable and ‘normal’ producing great results with his students. |
Eugene LavertyEugene comes from a road racing family, with a father and brothers all involved in two wheel activities. After debuting in national championships in 2001, and coming second in the British 125cc Championship in 2004, Laverty moved up to British Superbikes. Eugene made his World Championship debut in 2007, under the wing of the LCR 250cc Honda team. 2009 saw Eugene finish runner-up in the World Supersport championship with the Parkalgar Team. |
Randy MamolaRandy Mamola is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He is considered one of the most talented riders never to have won a world championship. Mamola's first 500cc motorcycle Grand Prix race was in Sweden in 1979, riding a Yamaha. His first victory in the 500cc class was at Belgium in 1980. He went on to win a total of 13 Grands Prix, and finished second in the championship four times: in 1980, 1981, 1984 and 1987. During his Grand Prix career he rode for Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda and Cagiva. |
2009 European Superstock 600 Champion Gino, is set to make his debut World Supersport in 2010. Just after wrapping up his title at the Portuguese race, Gino was able to secure a test ride aboard the factory World Supersport Yamaha at the same circuit. Gino performed well, lapping within a second of the pace set in Sunday’s Supersport race by winner Eugene Laverty and faster than twice World Supersport Champion Andrew Pitt managed during the race as well. |
